Poetry?

When I think of poetry I think of a guy dressed like William Shakespeare who has a British accent and for some reason unknown to me he has a handle bar mustache.  I know this is somewhat unorthodox but that is what I see when I hear poetry.  Poetry to me is written by a British guy from medieval times who has an awesome handle bar mustache.
